CJ build a shed for our house and it came out beautifully. I did not know where to begin but CJ helped me draw out plans and and was extremely cost-efficient in his execution.
He has also helped my restore a beach property. The permitting process for this project was horrendous but CJ was able to navigate it with ease.

"Creative Solutions"
CJ McLeod was the general contractor on my "new construction" hillside home and guesthouse in Ojai. I had a very complicated and challenging project and CJ was integrally involved over the entire timeline - from a wilderness lot to the certificate of occupancy. His expertise and advice were invaluable. He helped me with land clearing, water system, design and plans, utility hookups, road building, retaining walls, swimming pool, etc. and ran the entire construction project. He interfaced with the permitting authorities and prevailed on many many issues that required exception or creative solutions. His subcontractor team was flawless, he ran an extremely clean job site and was onetime / on budget for everything that was in his control. It sounds pretty unbelievable but its true. I obviously enjoyed working with him very much.

As an Interior Designer, I have worked with many contractors over the last few decades - and no one has impressed me more than CJ. He is honest, strait forward, extremely reliable, knowledgeable and kind. He's a man of his word, and amazingly hard working. His attention to detail is spot on, and his job sites are always kept tidy and organized. I have worked on many jobs with CJ, and can't think of anyone else I would trust as much to build my own house. He's a very solid builder, and a very solid human!
